Adaptive Reuse

Adaptive Reuse has conventionally been defined as a process of adapting an old structure or building(s) to perform to a new desired use or function. This niche in the design world allows for existing buildings to be reused and rediscovered. Without this form of design, buildings would be demolished after their original intent has been carried out. This design method allows for buildings to be reconfigured to perform new functions.

The projects listed below are examples of buildings that changed in function, use, and aesthetic to remain a part of today’s ever changing world.
