The Nicole Condos

The Nicole Condos

The design of The Nicole building developed from the idea to create unique student housing which could either be leased housing units, or sold as condominium units. The building is nestled in the heart of the Marquette University Campus, and the combination of height and location provides for some outstanding views of the surrounding community. A main focus of the design was to create an extremely efficient use of space while wasting little space on common areas. Each unit has two levels and two enclosed parking stalls are dedicated to each unit. Six sets of helical stairs, both public and private, intertwine themselves in a unique configuration. Although the first floors of the upper units are three stories up, the walk seems as if it has been reduced to two. The units also offer some flexibility in design as well. Each unit contains four bedrooms and two baths, but changes can be made to accommodate a three bedrooms and a three-bath configuration.

This building was designed as a prototype, and a sister building was also constructed within 200 feet of the original.
